Rebecca writes to her friend Margaret (Peggy) about the social scene of Baltimore, announces the birth of her nephew Edward and discusses the rise of summer residences in Oakland outside of Baltimore and Germantown, PA, due to the fear of Yellow Fever.

Rebecca tells her sister-in-law Maria about the reconciliation between her and her estranged brother Simon right before his death. However, she expresses regret that the family did not reunite sooner.

This document is a thank you letter from David Axelrod, Director of The University of Chicago Institute of Politics, to Elie Wiesel. Dated May 31, 2013, the letter expresses profound gratitude to Wiesel for generously sharing wisdom with the students (referred to as "kids") at the institute.
